We hope you’ve been enjoying the arrival of spring, with daffodils and bluebells blooming, lambs bleating, birds chirping, and all sorts of other wonders. Here’s a rundown of our latest activities and upcoming events:
We’ve been exploring amazing local initiatives in Herefordshire and Powys…which has also involved meeting lots of sheep :)

“Every difficult problem has a solution that is simple, clear, and wrong”
If you want a more in depth overview of our strategy in catalysing the silent majority, and how we can find our part to play in the climate mobilisation, co-director Liam Kavanagh walks us through it here:
Thank you to Jessica Townsend and Guy Ducker for recording and editing this video!
Transition Lobby
In February and March, the CMP business campaign, 'Regulate Us. Better' inaugurated the Transition Lobby together with Influence Map, Business Declares and Unchecked UK. Hosted by Bates Wells, over 60 professionals gathered to explore how commercial organisations need to respond if they accept that climate change may put them out of business. The group is holding a feedback session setting out its initial strategy on Tuesday 27th May. Contact helena@climatemajorityproject.com to attend.
Our business campaign will also be at Innovation zero on April 30, hosting a session called: Regulating for Overshoot. How to Plan for a Post 1.5° World. Join us in the Working Groups Theatre (3) at 14.45pm.
Climate Courage Action Labs
Are you a professional frustrated by the lack of environmental action within your organisation? Join this online journey, organised by the CMP business campaign, with colleagues who are asking the same questions to turn that energy into action. More info and sign up here!
Takeaways from the Climate Majority Forum!
In March, the inaugural CM Forum was held at Limehouse Town Hall, a historic setting that framed a weekend of focused conversation and collaboration, plus some amazing music and food! Engaged citizens from across the UK gathered to begin shaping a growing community — one committed to practical, grounded responses to the climate crisis. Since the forum, several people have already split off into various working groups.
